Question : Red5 Losing quality when converted to FLV

I have Red5 server adn I am using Red5 OflaDemo to capture the video. I am not sure why but when I capture the video with my high quality camera, it does not produce a good quality flv file. There is not much available on web to give guidance. can anybody help me please?

Answer : Red5 Losing quality when converted to FLV

Generally, when videos are converted to FLV for transmission over the Internet, they use a relatively low bit rate and may use lower resolution than the original video was.  This will result in degraded video quality compared to an original, high bit rate, high resolution video image.

Do you know what settings are being used in converting your video to FLV?
