Question : CD corrupted or the wrong format

if the PC rejects the CD as corrupted or the wrong format, is it definitely the CD fault? Other than cleaning the CD surface, any other options?

Answer : CD corrupted or the wrong format

Most the time it is, of course you can never be certain without checking on another computer first.
(IF that is not an option let me know and we can go through the LONG LONG list of hardware troubleshooting )
Also the CD may be blank and not yet formatted
