Question : Problem with DNS forwarders

Hi I am having a problem with DNS forwarders. I am running on SBS 2003
I setup a Forwarder in DNS console to block "facebook.com" and I want it to forward to a "Sorry your Blocked webpage" that I have created and have running in IIS.
However instead of forwarding to the webpage I want it to go to, it keeps trying to forward to the "Company website" that is also running in IIS.
At first I thought i might of stuffed up the registry in DNS of the My Websites Host Header or something like that but then I tried for testing purposes to setup in DNS a forward for "facebook.com" to push to "www.google.com" instead of  going to my webpage.
I have done this on other servers no problem.
So then I try on Server it doesnt work it still tries to push to the "Company Website".
So that tells me it has nothing to do with the Website I created, but I dont know what else could be making it look to the "Company Website" all the time.
If anyone can help me I would be greatly appreciative

Answer : Problem with DNS forwarders

hi,

It sounds to me like it is a problem with Host headers in IIS.  I think your company website is probably the default website (from a host header perspective) in iis and you have no host header set up for the new page.  To fix this, you should set up a host header for the page that you want to point to.  The host header should state www.facebook.com.
