Question : How to set up a remote personal server & run own software such as Outlook & Access on server

I need to set up a virtual office where I can log in remotely and read my emails (Outlook), work and share files and run software such as MS Excel and Access on the server. Also need to replicate my emails with personal smartphone. There will be minimum 2 users for such server. The server itself must be managed by other company.

In other words, I want to be able to use a remote server as if it was my own PC by just having access to internet. Also, GotoMyPC or LogMeIn are not what I am looking for.

Appreciate any comments that can educate me about how to set up such office and its related costs.

Based on your statements, it sounds like you either want a "hosted" Small Business Server solution (http://www.lanlogic.net/dedicated/small-business-server.aspx) that would encompass a variety of shared applications for you and your staff.  Or a "Virtual Hosted Desktop" solution (http://www.virtualhosteddesktop.com/) that would create a more individual solution for each user.

If you want to give more detail on the requirements, I'd be happy to elaborate.
