Question : Cisco PIX and ARP issue

We have a network with two firewalls and a router. The second FW (Cisco) is going to be the new internet connection for the network. When I programed the FW and connected it to the network our two servers had an issue communicating on the network. We could no longer ping the node .2 and .3 . Then noticed when repairing the Network Connection that it displayed an ARP error.
When Cisco was discoed from network the servers could be pinged and worked OK.
I assumed that the Cisco would be passive on the network untill I progrmed the gateway to be pointed to the Cisco. This was not the case. The funny part is that the Cisco had previously been connected to the network and did not have this behavior. Can anyone shed some light on what happened, and any commands to allow the Cisco on the network to test before going live.

Thanks

Answer : Cisco PIX and ARP issue

OK, I'm confused.  These statements do not seem to be the same:

"when I am hired new" and "I got a job for oracle Dba remote working"

Are you looking for what to ask once you show up for your first day of work?

If so, you should already have a good idea what the duties are going to be.  I'd definitely ask for any corporate policies/standards as it pertains to your work.   There are ALWAYS several ways to do the same 'thing'.  Many shops have standardized.

Confirm this is what you are asking and I'll see if I can come up with anything more.
