Question : Acer aspire 3020 wireless button

My wirless network is not working - the driver is ok and the card appears. If I push the wireless button on the front panel, nothing happens. I have tried this on both XP and Win7 with the same computer with no luck.

SOunds like a hardware issue with the wifi button.

You may have to open the laptop and check the connector and / or do any cleaning.

It may also be an antenna issue depending on how the wifi button is actually turning on the device.
