Question : Can I boost my home wireless network with another wireless device ?

I have a home wireless network, basically works fine. House is medium size, basic colonial, 3 bedrooms. Connection adequate in bedrooms.

Now I want to connect a PC to my flat-panel TV (to get NetFlix), we did that but the connection kept flaking out and the movie interrupted several times. We had a laptop connected to the TV and it was behind the TV so basically hidden.

Would it help to set up another wireless device to boost the connection ?
