Question : Download OSX updates for manual installation
Aloha,
I'm running a Windows-based campus with an additional Mac Lab. In the Mac lab we have 10 iMacs running OSX 10.6. These machines have not been updated in (way) too long and I'm doing that before the students return. We have no OSX server.
These machines have accumulated 1.2GB worth of updates and I'm looking for a way to download them once and then deploy them to the workstations. In a previous job we had an OSX server with Software Update services that deployed the updates to each workstation without having to use our (meager) bandwidth to download to each workstation.
I need a solution that will allow me to download the appropriate updates (all machines appear to need the same set) once and deploy them. either over our network or via sneaker net.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Wayne Bow
