Question : Delete SQL Server Hotfix Directory?
On my SQL Server 2005 server I have a growing number of hotfix directories, with names like the following:
SQL9_KB948109_ENU.
NS9_KB951217_ENU
SQLTools9_KB951217_ENU
Some of these directories are compressed, others are not. Can I remove these directories without impact to the system? I normally delete the 'uninstall' directories to free space once I know there are no problems with an update. I would like to do the same with these directories as I am short on disk space on this server.
Thanks,
Joe
