Question : Automatically sending email with attachment script on Outlook 2003
To All experts out there,
I need your help to find out for me on what is the mailto syntax that I can use to attach a file to an Outlook mail.
Currently, the mailto command that I use is as follows, and it fails:
mailto:program-support@dom
ain.com?su
bject=QVC trace file&body=See the attached QVC tracefile&attachment=””C:\
Program Files\MyProgram\Adjudicati
on\QVC_tra
ce.zip””
using the above command it works in opening new window of email in Outlook but nothing is attached :-|
any suggestion or ways to send automated scripted email would be greatly appreciated.
deploying powershell 2.0 companywide is not an option at this time.
Thanks,
JJ
