Question : Broadband Usage
Hi
We have a DSL connection from our local ISP and i suspect the line is being saturated with to much traffic becasue we would regularly have customers complaing about things being slow.
So i called up ISP to ask "can you tell me if our line is being saturated?" answer we dont hold that type of information......
Is there anything out there that i can use to see if the line is being maxed out?
cheers
Answer : Broadband Usage
The best option would be to place a firewall device capable of monitoring traffic and reporting to you the bandwidth usage. You could use a computer sitting around with 2 NICs and SmoothWall (
http://www.smoothwall.org
/
) for example.
