Question : "pci system error on bus device function 007ah" and others on HP NetServeer E800

Our HP Netserver E800 crashed with a blue screen reporting a hardware device(? - not specific and I failed to note all the details) error just after I inserted a usb cable for an external hard drive into a usb adapter.  The us adapter was already accomodating another external drive.  When I rebooted I saw a series of :
"pci system error on bus device function 0007a"
then
"pci system error on bus/device/function 0000h"
"pci parity error on bus/device/function 0000h"
message pairs for several functions starting with 0000h (as illusstrated above).
System displays message pairs for 0028hm 0029h, 002ah.
This sequence appears 2 times after memory scan, then 2 times again after detecting mouse and ATAPI for the IDE CD.
Then it spins up and finds the scsi HDDs, and adaptec scsi controller, and 2 HP Tape drives.  It then tries to boot WIndows 2000 and hangs with the progress bar at abouut 70% done.

I've tried booting into safe mode and safe mode with command prompt to no avail.

I booted into the HP Diagnostics partiton and ran the diags.  Diags reported NO problems.

I've disconnected ALL the external USB devices ( just 2 - the new one and the one that had been running fine for more than 2 years ).  Reboot produces same results.

Any clues on source of problem?

Hope you are creating linked Server using Wizard..

1. Expand SQL Server in SSMS
2. Expand Server Objects -> Linked Servers and Right click Linked Server
3. Choose New Linked server and in General page, provide your Informix database details
4. In Security tab, provide User name and password in "Be made using the security context" which should work.
