The idea of building a holiday table so a database will function years into the future sounds gruesome!  Since the original answer in 2008 do you know of anyone who has come up with a function for determining US Federal holidays OR the existence of a table to share?

This seems like scores of people reinventing the holiday table!  Geesh!

I guess first you have to define "US Federal Holidays" ...
Like, Easter ?  Always a different day.

July 4th ... easy, lol.

Why not set up a user table with simple maintenance form ... which allows the holidays to be populated each year.
