Question : Problems uninstalling Office 2007

I am helping a client with the install of Office 2010.  We need to do a complete uninstall of Office 2007 and then a fresh install of Office 2010. There is a problem, however, uninstalling Office 2007.

Using Control Panel Uninstall, when we try to uninstall Office 2007 we get the following message: Setup could not find any available products to install.  Contact administrator.  User has administrative rights.  User has Windows Vista.

This is odd because Office 2007 is installed on the users computer.  How can we get and do a complete uninstall and why is it giving us this message?
