Question : How to Convert PC into KVM / LAPTOP INTO KVM

I own a pc shop. i have a lot of old laptops and desktops sitting around... i would like to do accomplish the following...

remote control the pc that has come in for repair, over the network.... is there a way to do this without buying a full ip kvm switch? i would like to do this if its possible... i already have a kvm without lan ... if i could use any combination of old desktops/server/laptops to remote control the pc from bios sequence... then my life would be easier as i cannot be at the shop due to illness....

looking for ideas... obviously we know this but ill just say it .. im not looking for software such as logmein rdp... this only functions from an OS... thanks... in addition im willing to pay something for this solution

I think your best shot is an IP KVM that has that capability. I don't believe there is any way to do that otherwise.
