Question : IBM HMC upgrade from v5r2.1 to 7.3.4

Greetings,

What is the correct procedure to upgrade an HMC from v5r2.1 to 7.3.4.  Is this a multi phase upgrade or can the HMC be wiped and re-installed with 7.3.4?  What is the quickest way to accomplish this?

Answer : IBM HMC upgrade from v5r2.1 to 7.3.4

You need to get to 6.1.2 or 6.1.3 before you can migrate to 7.3.4.  Check out these IBM Support documents and Info Center topics for detailed instructions.
