Question : How do I get my youtube video to show up in Google search results

Hi all -  My title pretty much says it all, but to expand a bit more here's what I'm looking to do.  Have you ever noticed that, when searching for something via Google, every once and a while a youtube video will appear in the search results.  How can I better my chances of getting my video to appear there?

ranking via metadata or title is absolutely obsolete now

earlier this was a sure-shot way tp shoot up in rankings

but seeing how people abuse it at will, google has changed its search algorithm over the years to counter this
now, its more advanced and looks at the content on the page, the incoming traffic, the daily average hits, etc... that kind of stuff
