Question : Camtasia - replay looks strange

We recorded some Camtasia videos of HyperV 2008 R2 VM's in which we were doing installs e.g. we would create a VM and do an Exchange install all the while capturing the process with Camtasia running on the host machine.  As we 'filmed' everything looked normal - however on playback all the colours are strange and it's not very readable.  We are playing back using either the Camtasia specific .camrec file  and also converted it to AVI - didn't make much difference. Any thoughts on how to fix the playback?

Answer : Camtasia - replay looks strange

Depends how bad it looks. Most editors like Premiere or Pinnacle or Corel Video Studio offer "Color Correction", which encompasses Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast and Gamma. But you have said that it's "not very readable" -- and, as you know, you can't polish cow dung. I know there's a stack of people who have stuck to Camtasia with its huge AVI (outdated format container) files and it's periodical glitches and grainy recording.
