Question : Non Domain Users Accessing a Share on a Domain server

I have non domain users that need to access a shared folder on a domain server. I do not want to make them members of the domain. Currently they cannot access the folder on the domain share.
Is there a way to allow them to access only this one folder from their laptops without joining them to the domain and making them members of the domain?

firewall issue?  you could test with a google smart host or hotmail (if you have their accounts).  Really there isn't a whole lot to IIS smtp.
