Question : How do I change default downlaod location in XP

Is it possible to change the default download directory to one of my choice?

Answer : How do I change default downlaod location in XP

For Internet Explorer:

1. Click on Start—) Run type regedit click ok 
2. Navigate the following key from left pane HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer  
3. Now you should see Download Directory key from right pane or you can create one 
4. Right Click --) New STRING VALUE --> "DownloadDirectory" 
5. In the value field "D:\Downloads", and make sure you have a folder "Download" in the D:\ Drive 

FireFox: (The Best)

Tools--) Options--) General--) You can change the Download Folder from the "Downloads"
