Does anyone have any experience with marketing their software at CNET / Upload / Download dot com ?

I am having difficulty managing my account over there. I have a Free product listing that I have tried to update to the premium paid listing but after 10 days of messing around, I can't the the upgrade to work.

I have attempted to contact their support using their contact forms on 3 occasions but have not had any reply.

Their site was doing weird thing with IE8 when I was trying to upgrade. I redid it with FF.

Now I seem to have 2 listings (one free, and one standard even though I signed up for premium) and the new listing is marked as pending.

It's very frustrating and I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong?

Does anyone have any opinions about how effective cnet/upload/download.com are for marketing software?

A. Generally when I'm looking for software they're not the first place I go, and I've never bought anything there. The reviews are a mixed bag. I guess if you're just looking to get your product out there, it could be helpful, but I wouldn't rely on it as a sole source.
