i wish to find a way to time stamp each cordites as they are recived so i know at what time they were at that postion and try and find away to make data compressed as to speed things up in the data to server
also i need to work out distance from each postion by way of each other

Whether compression slows things down depends on the type of compression and the compression ratio and the quantity of data and disk speeds. Some types of compression may help speed things up under certain conditions.
