Question : Create a shortcut or drive letter for a digital camera

Hello,

I have a client with a custom program. We need to be able to either create a shortuct to their digital camera or map the camera to a drive letter. I know they could remove the memory card each time and put it in a reader, but being a repair shop I am worried the card would get dirty or ruined. They will download pictures dozens of times a day that is why USB is preferred. Most of the cameras they have now are Nikons.

After you connect the device go to my computer and create a shortcut for the camera.  Then place it on the desktop.  You can even drag the icon to the desktop to create one.  Then the next time the camera is connected just click on the shortcut.
