Question : ORACLE RAC

Dear Friends!

I have two nodes oracle RAC. I am using ASM for storage and is placed on SAN.
I am taking backups of database daily using RMAN.

My question how can i take backup of each node (instances) so that incase of a node failure i can rebuild the node with minimum downtime.

Answer : ORACLE RAC

You only backup the database; not the instance. If a node goes down you can rebuild it using the existing node.
