Question : SBS 2008 migration wizard created Exchange mailboxes for users that didn't have them previously

Recently migrated from SBS2003 to SBS 2008 and am now working through all the bits and pieces tidying up.
We have a number of user accounts which do not have or need mailboxes.
During the migration, the wizard in its wizdom seems to have created mailboxes for all these accounts. Is this a standard "feature" of the migration wizard?

Just wanted to check that there's no problem with going into Exchange Management Console and deleting the mailboxes for these users? Anything else I need to consider?

Hi

Please reference this http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/Q_23121409.html

In Exchange 2007 when you disable a mailbox via the ECM the mailbox attributes are removed from the user account and the mailbox is marked for deletion and moved to the disconnected mailbox area.

When you select remove it does the same as above however is also deletes the user account from AD. Therefore disabling a user seems to be a two step process now where you disable the mailbox and then disable to account.
