Question : RAM Purchasing Decision

I have the option of purchasing 4 GB of Crucial memory PC2-8500 • 5-5-5-15 for $134.99 or 4 GB of Crucial memory PC2-6400 • 4-4-4-12 for $82.99. The PC2-8500 is coming directly from Crucial and the PC2-6400 is coming from Newegg. My motherboard will accept either ram. I sometime run games like Starcraft II. Is the PC2-8500 worth the extra $52.00? Will I see a big difference in play? I am running a E8400 CPU and I will be running Windows 7.

I don't think you will see much of a difference since the game requirements are much less. Here is a link that can show a gamer's opinion, not much difference between 2gb and 4gb so I can't imagine the speed would make much difference. If it were me I would spend the extra $52
