Question : How to enable full control on drive e?

I have two computers on a home network. One is Camilla2 and the other Camilla3. I can access with Camilla2 via the network Camilla3’s drive E, but can’t make any changes. How can I get it back where I used to be able to do this? In other words how can I enable Camilla2 to add a new folder in drive e of Camilla3? I forgot to mention that I am running Windows 7 Home Edition on both computers.

Answer : How to enable full control on drive e?

First of all you have to share out drive E and then configure the security permissions. If you right click on drive E and select properties - sharing - advanced sharing - and then tick share this folder - click permissions - you can give the everyone group full control. Then you click on the security tab and again add the everyone or the name of the computer and give full control. If you browse to camilla3 eg: \\camilla3\share name and you can then mapped a drive if you like. You can also mapped a drive through cmd eg: net use j: \\camilla3\share name

Hope this helps.
