Question : Receive "Don't have exclusive access" message when trying to modify objects in the backend
When I'm trying to develop in design mode in the backend .accdb, I get the exclusive use error when a specific user is in the FRONT END. She has to close the front end for me to work in the design mode of the backend. Any other users is OK.
Answer : Receive "Don't have exclusive access" message when trying to modify objects in the backend
Even if you are permitted to do design work in the backend with users logged on to the front end, it's a bad, bad idea. Please do your design work on a copy of the backend where YOU have exclusive access.
