Question : Routing to 2 networks

We have an issue, where a customer has started a small business and requires to have a new network but retain their existing network. New network will be on IP address 192.168.1.x and the existing network will be on 192.168.16.x. My collegue has put 2 network cards in the new server (Local LAN on 192.168.1.x and secondary card on 192.168.16.x) and we wish to be able to route traffic (printing + sage) via the 192.168.16.x network and internet, email, etc via the 192.168.1.x network, I was thinking that this may be over complicating matters and the simplest soultion would be to put a dual wan firewall (Draytek 2910 or something similar) on the 192.168.1.x network and add routes within the firewall to talk to the 192.168.16.x network. Looking for information as to what would be the best solution
