Question : Track external IP address in ASA.

I need to monitor/verify when a particular external IP address is communicating with our network both communication to and from.  What is the easiest way to do this?

ASA Version 8.0(3) ASDM 6.0(3) if that matters.

Create access-list entries and log them

access-list outside_access_in permit ip host <host> any log

access-list inside_access_out permit ip any host <host> log
access-list inside_access_out permit ip any any

access-group inside_access_out in interface inside

(assuming you already have outside_access_in enabled on the outside interface)
