Question : VS2008 - Help with preferences

I'm sure there's is very easy way to do this, I just don't know how.

All I want to do is this.  When Visual Studio starts up I want things loaded is specific areas.  For example, I want my Toolbox on the left, my solution explorer, Propoerties and Server explorer to be grouped together but float.

Is there a way to take a snapshoot of the envirnment so that every time VS starts everything is where I want it to be?

Answer : VS2008 - Help with preferences

Your settings should automatically be saved... Anytime i move a toolbar or anything around, it stays that way, and when i re-load visual studio it is the way i had it last...

You might try deleting your vssettings which i believe is located in: Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Settings

That will force VS to recreate your settings file
