Question : How can I find out what type of driver I need for a "other device, Unknown Device" for a nc6400 laptop
I work at a school and a company donated 20 HP nc6400 laptops to our school. When I recieved the machines everything was wiped out on them. I reformatted the HD and installed XP and am now loading the drivers. I've found them all except for 1. It's listed in Device Manager as an "Other Device - Unknown Device". When I look at the properties it says its "on PCI standard ISA bridge". The device status states that "The drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28).
I need to know what the device and what driver I'm looking for. I've gone the the HP website and loaded every hardware device driver on the support page for the nc6400.
I did all the Microsoft updates and everything other update I can find.

It's the TPM driver. Install this before imaging and you should be good to go.
