Question : DELL LATITUDE D610 80GIG STUCK IN BOOT LOOP
I have a D610 that has worked perfectly up until now. It begins booting XP Pro, shows the logo, then flashes for a millisecond the Blue Screen of Death, and reboots. It does this continuously.
My thinking was that the boot sector failed and so my first attempt was to make an image of the drive using Acronis and work on the image. I have successfully made an image, and burned it to another hard drive. It, of course does the same thing. I have checked the new drive out with Spinrite to verify no bad sectors. Now I need to restore the drive to a bootable status. However, after using System Mechanic Drive medic and a few other attempts, I can't break the loop.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? I have about 30 working laptops here, all running XP Pro. I do not have an original installation disk. Is there something that I can create from these laptops to fix this loop?

It's the TPM driver. Install this before imaging and you should be good to go.
