Question : Video card reccommendations

Here is my current system:

RAM: MEM KINGSTON 2x2G  (KVR1333D3N9K2/4G)

MoBo: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P Rev 1.1
AMD770
PCIe 2.0. x16

Proc: AMD Phenom II X4 810 Deneb 2.6GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 4MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 95W Quad-Core Processor

Vid Card: nVidia 512 mb 9800GT

Win 7 Ultimate

I am going to add two more 2 gig sticks of the Kingston RAM to go to 8.  I'm looking for a vid card improvement, BUT I do not want to spend $500 on the latest and greatest.  I'm thinking $125 to $200 and I would like to stay with nVidia.  Maybe go to 1 gig ram on the card, DDR5 or something like that. I am a gamer that likes a fast, good graphics card, but not extreme hard core.  What are your suggestions?

Answer : Video card reccommendations

Not really. There are some 200 series cards with GDDR5, but they are considered lower end cards. The 400 series cards are the only ones with GDDR5 worth buying. There are some 460's with less memory for a little bit cheaper, but not by much. I would suggest the 460 or 465 (about $250). If you want to go lower, go for the 260 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133270), at about $180.
