Question : ASA 5510 - site to site vpn - receiving data but not sending
I've configured a bunch of site to site tunnels but I can't see where I went wrong here. The client I am connecting to has an ASA as well and it is managed by another IT group. The tech gave me the settings he used which were:
preshared key (what the key was)
IKE Policy Encryption / Authentication / DHGroup: 3DES / SHA / Group2
IPSec ESP Encryption / ESP Authentication: 3DES / SHA
their outside ip address
and we define the networks to be protected by the tunnel
So, I matched those settings and the tunnel came up. And I can see that the RX traffic count is going up, but the TX is at 0. What could cause this? Thanks.
