Question : Searching in Windows 7 Ultimate and Wind 2008 Server how do I search accurately?
I thought that knew a few things. I guess I do not.
I have a few files and I get confused all the time wondering whether I have searched correctly or not. I am trying to get to these file extensions seen below. I know that they are on the machine but for some reason I cannot always find them. I often do not get the whole indexing thing.
QBX, QBM, QBA QBB, QBW
How can I
1.) using syntax make sure I am searching all 5 types ....... is that *.QBX; or *.QBX, or ?
2.) make sure I am searching the entire computer regardless of the indexing.
Thank you for your help.

ruavol2--First of all, run your Win7 Searches from WinKey+F. You will get a lot more hits.
