Question : SBS 2003 can ping but cannot browse internet

Our server is running SBS 2003. At one time we were running ISA 2004 but I totally uninstalled it when I installed a hardware firewall.

Sometime over the last month or so (just noticed the problem on Saturday) I can no longer browse the internet from the server itself. I can ping by name and receive a resolved IP address but I cannot browse the internet by name or by IP. I've tried to telnet to a site using port 80 (telent 74.125.159.104 80) and receive the error "Cold not open connection to the host, on port 80: Connect failed".

Luckily all other servers and clients are having no issues, just the SBS server. The server is able to send/receive mail, users can connect to OWA, users can connect via VPN.

I have tried the following so far:
* rebuilt IP stack
* disabled RRAS
* disabled IP filtering on the NIC
* reran CEICW multiple times

My configuration:
1 NIC (192.168.16.2)
Sonicwall firewall
SBS 2003 Premium (with ISA uninstalled)
Exchange 2003
Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 (no firewall)

Can anyone help?

Answer : SBS 2003 can ping but cannot browse internet

Check the firewall/nat rules on the sonicwall making sure you don't have something funky there redirecting to the old ISA.  Also, perform a route print from the command line to make sure you don't have a static route there as well.  Check the hosts file also.
