Question : Brother All in One Scanner corrupting scanned images

Hi there
Using a Brother MFC-255CW All in One.
I am unable to Scan at 1200 x 1200 resolution. Each time I set the s/w to that (using Controlcenter 3) the file saves and the preview of it appears in the folder, but when trying to open the file, it displays "the file appears to be damaged or corrupted".
However, if I choose 600 x 600 or any other lower resolution, it works fine. I have tried tif, and jpeg with the same results. This printer is supposed to be able to scan at 1200 x 1200 according to the specs. I am using MS Vista as the O/S.
Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

Delete this

drop table [dbo].[new_table]
GO

Add this

if object_id('dbo.new_table') is not null
drop table [dbo].[new_table]
GO
