Question : Why won''t my computer access the Internet using IE after MSFT updates?

I've had this problem with multiple machines.  Windows XP Pro and Home edition.  After updating the system with Microsoft Updates IE will no longer access the Internet.  These machines can still access the net using FireFox and/or Chrome.  All machines are virus free and up to date with all service packs patches and drivers.  Thanks in advance.

That's normal behavior for a maintenance plan backup.

It's better to write your own SQL commands for backup and run them with a scheduled job.
