Question : Slipstream all updates into new wim.image / win 7 install DVD
Just wondering if there are any new tutorials or methods posted for slipstreaming all Win7 updates into an new wim.image and/or install DVD, so if I chose a metal restore I don't waste my bandwidth reinstalling all the Win7 updates. There is almost enough for a SP1 out there already - hopefully not to far away...
Answer : Slipstream all updates into new wim.image / win 7 install DVD
IIS only needs to be installed on your site server. Essentially what the BDP does is the same as if you turned on BITS for all your clients and makes all transmission HTTP traffic. So no, you do not have to install IIS on BDPs.
