Question : iPhone ActiveSync error: Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed.  New DigiCert certificate

Two days ago we installed a new DigiCert certificate, which has cut off all of our firm's iPhones which had previously been syncing with Exchange.  OWA works, as does Outlook via RPC.  The iPhones successfully go through the verification process, but when mail is launched the error message "Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed" is returned.
