Question : Cannot Access Application Data

Hi,
So a user in my organisation decided to click on a virus email and is unable to login to XP even in Safe mode or System Restore. I have the drive out of PC and can access Documents and Settings however I cannot access the Application Data file to extract his email PST file.
I keep getting Access is Denied error appear and the file size says that it is empty.

Can anyone help me work out a way to get into this folder at all? Need to get emails then set them up onto the Exchange Server.

Answer : Cannot Access Application Data

Take the onwership of the direcotry.

1- tools/folderoptions/view and uncheck 'use simple file sharing'
2- Click on Documents and Settings  and click sharing&security
3- Click 'advanced 'button find the 'owner' tab.
4- add  your current account and check 'replace on subcontainers' and click on OK
