Question : Tools to test IOPS for SAN
My question title pretty much says it all :) I have an EMC CX4-120 and a vSphere infrastructure. After going to EMC World last week, I attended some sessions on SAN and vSphere performance and they really 'hounded' on IOPS. Obviously, I know that's a big deal, but don't know of any real tools to look at that metric (IOPS, that is). And, after I get this tool, how to I analyze the data? In other words, what are the standards for IOPS? I'm basically going to use this to monitor performance for my vSphere datastores/VM storage, so that's where my inquiry is based upon.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
