Question : Server 2008 Upgrade
Hi
I am in the process of upgrading my network from Server 2003 x64 to Server 2008 R2 x64. I seem to be having trouble finding the forestprep executable on the Server 2008 media and the domainprep executable is not in the directory that it should be. Could someone give me the location of forestprep.exe? Is the process different due to the fact that it's x64? I have done this twice now, without any problems, but this has thrown me.
Cheers
Answer : Server 2008 Upgrade
OK, you should login to DC holding Schema Master and type in CMD
adprep /forestprep
adprep /domainprep
that's all
