Question : Can I use Clonezilla for Business purposes
Hi Guys,
I know this is probably sounding like a stupid question but I wanted to know if I can use Clonezilla for business purposes. I work for a open-source provider of mobile phone software, which is a non-profit company.
I understand the basic concept of GNU and also GPL but I wondered if someone could give me an outline on how this works for things like Clonezilla as I really like the product and would like to incorporate it into our image building.
If anyone can shed light on this, I would appreciate it (if you have some weblinks to support it, that would also help too).
Regards,
Ambrish
Answer : Can I use Clonezilla for Business purposes
There's no restriction on how use use Clonezilla.
The GPL (IANAL) essentially says if you use code from Clonezilla, it's also covered by the GPL and others can re-use it.
