Question : Outlook password?

One of the employee was fired today so I changed his password in AD so that we can log onto his computer to get some emails and files. Well, when I opened outlook, its prompting me for a password and I entered the password but its not taking it. The username format is "server/username" with the correct password and its still not taking it. I even tried username without the server name in front and no luck there. What is going on? Since its not taking the password and i get prompted like 5x, i click cancel and i get the "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook Window. The set of folders could not be opened.

I went to another machine, logged in as his username with pass, created an outlook profile and I am still being prompted for username and password....

Answer : Outlook password?

If you have administrative rights...

Log on to a server using your admin rights, create your own profile there (you probably will have a normal account with mailbox to do so) and then open his mailbox using your profile

Tools - Account settings - Change - More settings - advanced - add - add his mailbox n close the wizard.

Applicable if you are in an exchange environment.
