Question : The print jobs coming out of the printers are in HUGE text

Experts!

I have no idea what happened, but a little after everyone got here, things seemed to be fine but then i started getting complaints that people printing to certain printers (all on the same server) the print outs are like 400X the normal size, even though print preview is showing the correct margins, font, font size, layout, everything.  But as soon as it hits the printer, its magnified 400X.

What do i do?  I thought it may be that the default printer may be off, but the default printer is set to our Ricoh MFP printer, just like it always has been.  I restarted the spooler, and still to no avail.

Server is Windows Server 2003 Ent SP2
We have a mix of printers, Ricoh, HP, Dell, and all are affected....

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

If you are going to use their usernames to generate URLs etc, I would then try to stick with the standard ASCII set of characters, no special characters.  A simple approach could be to check that every character is between 0-9,  a-z or A-Z.  Some other characters, like underscore is also allowed in URLs.

Here is a quick link that describes URLs and allowed characters etc.
