Question : Citrix Session Printers not showing the hostname of the machine.
Hello Everyone;
Q1. With every printing session that is being created; the name of the client machine on the session is long and it is not understandable. (Highlighted in Yellow)
I have seen in some Citrix implementations; the name of the client pc host-name will show up in the session instead of the unrecognizable name. witch makes it easy for us to identify which session belongs to which client.
I know when you install the full client there is an option when it ask you if you want the client name or the machine name. but this is not the case here since we use web interface primarily for our users.
Is there anything I can do to correct this ? Please take a look at the attached picture for details as I have more questions. Q2 & Q3

Answer : Citrix Session Printers not showing the hostname of the machine.
WI_RandomStuff shows because that is the way Web Interface is configured. There is a check box in the WI site settings that allows WI to override the client's ICA name. Uncheck that box.
