Question : iPhone Backup
Hi, i have question about the files in the backup directory
C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\A
pple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
does this folder contains everything from my iPhone like contacts, images and so on, if so. how can i:
1- know which is the contacts?
2- can i convert these to Excel sheet or convert them to Windows Contact, if so, please help to do that.
3- can i use another program instead of iTunes to deal with my iPhone with out any problem and in easy way.
please see the pic to get the idea of the files i have in my backup folder

Answer : iPhone Backup
No, pretty much the only thing you can do with those files is restore them back onto the iPhone. There's nothing that will "convert" the files directly into anything useful. If you wanted to export your contacts from the mddata file, you'd restore the iPhone from the backup, then export the contacts from the iPhone using iTunes into Outlook, mobileme, or some other contact/calendar software that iTunes talks to, and then export it into your desired format from there. But so far as I know there's no software that translates directly from the iPhone backup files into any usable format.
