Question : How to choose Internet Wireless for PC Desktop + Different between Cable and Wireless ?

I have PC Dekstop , Windows 7 Ultimate.

How to choose Internet Wireless ?

There is like usb , and others like to insert inside the box. What is the different ?

Other Question ,
My router is in other floor , if I tried to bring it near the PC , is it big different between Wireless and the Wire Direct to the Router ?

Ethernet is always more secure, & reliable if your not familiar with Wifi,
